Apple iPod touch 8GB (4th Generation) - Black - Current Version

The world's most popular portable gaming device is even more fun. Now available in black and white, iPod touch includes iOS 5 with over 200 new features, like iMessage, Notification Center, and Twitter integration. Send free, unlimited text messages over Wi-Fi with iMessage. Record HD video and make FaceTime calls. Visit the App Store to choose from over 500,000 apps. iPod touch also features iCloud, which stores your music, photos, apps, and moreÑand wirelessly pushes them to all your devices.

This is the model I've been waiting for, one with a built-in camera. I sold my old Touch, iPod, and Nano after I bought this. I'm a photographer but I don't always have my DSLR with me, so the Touch has been a fun way to pursue my photography passion when I'm out and about. Yeah sometimes I wish it were an iPhone, but the majority of time I'm somewhere with wireless access so I still have the online experience without the monthly expense of the iPhone data plan. You will laugh at me but I keep my touch on my nightstand and in the morning I use it to check my email and check Facebook/Flickr without getting out of bed! It's also a good time killer while waiting for appointments or sitting in boring meetings.

My iPod touch is my new favorite electronic device. It isn't too big, can surf the web with wireless access, plays videos and stores many songs, podcasts, streams radio. Aside of music, my favorite use is for radio--I downloaded a couple of free Apps to stream my favorite stations--no more static!! Battery life average if playing music, drains a little faster with videos. I usually charge once a day since I leave my radio player on for a few hrs. at night. It has a lock passcode in case you lose it--no one can hack your information. I am fine with the 8GB-seems to be adequate for someone who loads a little of everything on their iPod

Before its release, I knew Apple would release an iPod touch with a camera... so I waited, and finally it came. I love it. It's an awesome piece of hardware with a ton of functions for the modern gadget user. I use it so much that I rarely have to go on my computer. I think it was a great buy. I highly recommend it.
