Asus Keyboard/Docking Station for Eee Pad Transformer easily switch between tablet and PC mode with the docking station designed especially for the Eee Pad Transformer. The station not only extends the tablet's battery life up to 16 hours1 but also features added functionalities which include a near full-sized QWERTY keyboard, a multi-touch touchpad, 2 USB 2.0 ports, and a 4-in-1 SD card reader.

This is a must have for the ASUS eee Transformer TF101. It adds flexibility and versatility. Your tablet can function as both a tablet and a netbook. Simply undock the keyboard and you are in tablet mode. Or click the tablet into the dock and you have the keyboard and a track pad plus the extended battery life (essentially 2X). With the keyboard you add 2 USB slots plus an additional SD slot to go along with the Micro SD slot in the tablet. The keyboard also provides added protection for the screen when it is closed and being transported. The tablet locks into the keyboard and has an easy to use and well-designed release latch. With the lid closed there is no locking mechanism to keep it closed but this does not seem to be an issue. There is a maximum open position that is suitable for most situations (it looks to be about 125-135 degrees). The keyboard option was why I picked the ASUS transformer TF101 over many other Droid tablets. I am very happy with this.

It does what it's advertised to do, work as a keyboard and extend battery life. I liked how asus releases updates frequently, which fixed the battery drain and lag issues.
